Owls & Echoes

Owls & Echoes is a bite-sized anthology of darkly comic and suspenseful vignettes exploring happiness, identity, common sense, and the fragility of assumptions. 7-8 minutes each.

Each vignette explores a unique everyday scenario that ties into moral dilemmas with a darkly comic twist. There is a recurring motif of owls throughout the anthology representing the unconventional logic or wisdom of the characters, some of whom also ‘echo’ through the vignettes, tying the stories together in a shared strange universe.

Owls & Echoes was one of eight narrative projects selected for the IFP Screen Forward Episodic Lab.
